Simplify project procurement processes in your organisation with FFCRC

At this stage of the bid process we naturally spend a lot of time talking to potential partners and discussing the benefits that Future Freight CRC can bring to their particular organisation and circumstances.

While the funding is nearly always an important part of the equation, we regularly hear from government partners and businesses how the model we will employ in FFCRC helps them by simplifying internal processes to get new projects off the ground.

How does this work?

Partners in Future Freight CRC commit a total amount of funding up front to participate in the centre. This amount is paid in installments to FFCRC and kept in trust specifically for that partner’s projects (and matched with Commonwealth grant co-funding of course).

This means that your project funding is already available for use, and does not need to be sourced internally as part of your project procurement activities. This in turn simplifies and speeds up the overall FFCRC project formation process meaning a more efficient start.

Part of our commitment is that we report back regularly on levels of spend to each partner, so it is always clear how much remains and how funds have been allocated to projects.

We also keep contracts and IP arrangements clear and consistent across our projects to assist the formation process and keep project partners aligned. See the FAQ on our website for more info on this and other matters relating to FFCRC.
